DR.
COSIMO A. RICCIARDI
Dr. Ricciardi is a native Floridian, excited to return to
practice in Florida.
Dr. Ricciardi specializes in the surgical treatment and
conservative treatments of painful foot and ankle conditions.
The conditions can include: Ankle pain, locking or
instability, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, and laser
treatment for ingrown nails. He is especially pleased to
provide the latest and most effective treatments for chronic
wounds of the lower extremities and noninvasive shock wave
treatment for heel pain.
Dr. Ricciardi brings extensive wound care, conservative and
surgical experience to Emerald Coast Podiatry and the Diabetic
Foot Wound Care Center. He is Board Eligible by the American
Board of Foot Surgery, The American Board of Podiatric
Orthopedics and Medicine. He is an Associate of the American
College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a member of the American
Podiatric Medical Association and member of the Florida
Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Ricciardi received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
and Math from Florida Atlantic University. He graduated from
Barry University in 1998. His residency training included 1
year of extensive diabetic foot wound care and amputation
prevention at the Boston Veterans Hospital as well as 2 years
of foot and ankle trauma and surgical training at Fountain
Valley Regional Hospital in Fountain Valley, California.
